Evangelist Mark Cox
Sharing the Gospel with unbelievers and empowering Believers to advance the Kingdom

About the Evangelist

Evangelist Mark Cox delivered his first sermon when he was 2 years old. Throughout his 20+ years of ministry, he has lead Sunday School classes, Youth Ministries, Vacation Bible Schools, and has held the position of Director of Outreach.

Mark tells his testimony of having a "coattails" faith, riding on the faith of his Mother and Father, where he knew the facts about God and Christianity but never had a personal relationship with God. Mark was faced with bullying, anxiety, and severe depression during grade school which caused him to question God's care for him. Though never questioning God's existence, as he always knew the evidence for God's existence was undeniable, he questioned God's desire for him and His desire for God.

During his junior year of high school Mark came to understand that he had never fully put his identity in who he was in Christ. It was this revelation that caused Mark to fully commit himself as a living sacrifice to the will and sovereignty of God. While the knowledge that his Mother and Father bestowed upon him could not save him, they played a vital role in who he is today.

His Father and Mother, Mark I and Krystal, have over 30 years of ministry experience including roughly 2 decades of pastoring.

Evangelist Mark and his wife, Maegan, have been married for almost four years. They have been blessed with a two year old daughter, Felicity, and a soon-to-be born son, Melchizedek.

Mark is excited to execute the call on his life to evangelize through spreading the gospel to unbelievers and empowering current believers to advance the Kingdom.

We believe that...

1.   The Bible is God-Breathed and the sole and final authority of the Eternal God given to humanity for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) (Sola Scriptura)

2.  The Triune God is equal and coexisting as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 3:16-17, John 1:1)

3.  Jesus Christ was fully human (Philippians 2:7-8) and fully God (John 1:1 & 14). He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18) and lived a sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15).

4.  Jesus Christ is a historically proven person recorded by historians and manuscripts. (Roman Historians: Tacitus and Suetonius, Roman Governor: Pliny the Younger, and Jewish historian: Josephus)

5.  Jesus is the one and only way to Heaven. (John 14:6)

6.  We are all broken but made whole in Christ. (Romans 3:23-24)

7.  Through His Resurrection, Jesus Christ defeated death (2 Timothy 1:10) giving us a direct line of communication to the Father (Mark 15:38). In His Resurrection there is power to transform the life of the unbeliever to a new creation of a living sacrifice (2 Corinthians 5:17).

8.  We are not saved by baptism or by works. However, because of our salvation, we will desire to produce fruit by doing the works He called us because we believe in him. (John 14:12). It is not a matter of “works based faith”, it is a matter of “faith-based works” because we know that without works, our faith is dead (James 2:17 & 26).

9.  It is the purpose of the Christian to spread the Good News and fulfill the Great Commission given to all by Christ Himself after His Resurrection. (Matthew 28:19-20)

10.  In order to effectively fulfill the Great Commission, all Christians must be disciples of Christ, abiding in Him daily (John 8:31) and showing our love for Him by following His commands (John 14:15). We follow His commands because we desire to be more like Him and to become a better reflection of the Image of God.

Discover how to be a Relational Christian that is Ready for Christ!

Being ready for when Christ calls on you is a vital necessity of a Christian. As a Relational Christian, we do not wait to prepare until He calls on us, by then it is already too late, we must always be prepared for WHEN He calls on us for an opportunity to do His work.

If we wait to prepare, we run the risk of being like the Fig tree and having our opportunity given to someone who is already prepared and ready!
